Lip Enhancement

We use 1ml of Hyaluronic Acid Filler, which is a naturally created substance found in the body that helps retain moisture and stimulate natural collagen growth. to enhance the look of the lips.

Once your lips are completely numbed (using a topical anaesthetic), the injector will look closely at your lips to assess the area where they will need to inject the filler to achieve the results you are looking for. Many patients agree that there is little to no pain beyond the feeling of pressure and a slight pinch or “twinge”. Overall, you can expect about 30-45 minutes for the whole appointment. There’s no downtime and afterwards you can safely drive yourself home.

Patients can expect mild bruising, swelling, and soreness after treatment. It can take up to two weeks for lip filler to settle in completely, though most patients report that filler settles after a few days. Fillers like Juvéderm attract water to the cells so you can expect mild swelling for the first 48 hours.

If needed we offer a follow up appointment to ensure that your lips are settling and you are 100% happy with the results, this is usually only necessary for first-time filler clients.

Lip Flip

This procedure is quick, pain free, has no recovery time. Unlike lip filler the lip flip doesn’t add volume and will only subtly accentuate the shape of the top lip.

A lip flip is a quick, in-office cosmetic procedure that lasts about 10 to 20 minutes. It involves the injection of Botox® into your Cupid’s bow, which is the middle of your upper lip, and into the corners of your mouth.

The injection temporarily relaxes the muscles around your lip. This causes the part of your upper lip that’s inside your mouth to “flip” upward and outward, giving your lip a fuller appearance.

Gummy Smile Correction

If your gummy smile is due to a short upper lip or overactive muscles, cosmetic muscle relaxing injections can help by causing the lip to rise less when you smile, thus showing less of your gum line.

A gummy smile, known in medical terms as excessive gingival display, is when you smile and too much gum tissue shows above the top teeth.
